1. General Provisions
These Terms of Service govern the use of the ProLocals platform (prolocals.com), an online directory of local professionals in the United Arab Emirates. By using the platform, you agree to these terms. ProLocals is not a party to any agreement between the client and the professional. We provide an informational platform for search and connection.
2. Service Description
ProLocals provides a catalog of verified professionals in the UAE: tutors, coaches, nannies, craftspeople, and other specialists. The platform allows you to browse profiles, filter by category, and submit contact requests. Registration is not required for clients. To submit a request, you only need to provide your name and phone number.
3. Requests and Data Sharing
When submitting a contact request, you provide your name, phone number, and task description. This data is shared with the selected professional so they can contact you. By submitting a request, you confirm your consent to share the specified data with the professional. Without this consent, the request cannot be submitted.
4. Liability
ProLocals makes every effort to verify professionals listed on the platform, but does not bear responsibility for the quality, timing, or results of their services. All arrangements between the client and the professional — including prices, timelines, and conditions — are made directly between the parties.
5. Reviews and Content
Reviews on the platform are collected and verified by the ProLocals team. We guarantee the authenticity of published reviews and reserve the right to remove content that violates our guidelines. Posting false, offensive, or misleading information is prohibited.
6. For Professionals
Professionals are listed on the platform in coordination with the ProLocals team. Profiles are synced from an internal database. Professionals are required to provide accurate information about their services, qualifications, and pricing. ProLocals reserves the right to deactivate a professional's profile in case of complaints or violation of platform rules.
7. Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided "as is". ProLocals does not guarantee uninterrupted service and is not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform. The maximum liability of ProLocals is limited to the amount paid by the user for using the platform (zero for free users).
8. Changes to Terms
