When using ProLocals, we may collect the following data: • Name and phone number — when submitting a contact or matching request. • IP address — automatically when visiting the site, to protect against abuse. • Task description — the text you provide in your request. • Technical information — browser type, device, interface language. • An anonymous device identifier and page-interaction events (views, button clicks, form submissions) — for product analytics. • Session recordings (session replay) — automatic recordings of on-page actions (navigation, clicks, cursor movement). Form field contents (name, phone, request text) are masked in the browser and are not included in the recording.
2. How We Use Data
Collected data is used exclusively for: • Forwarding your request to the selected professional. • Matching specialists to your request. • Protection against spam and abuse (request rate limits). • Improving platform performance. We do not use your data for marketing emails and do not sell it to third parties.
3. Data Sharing with Third Parties
Your name and phone number are shared with a professional only with your explicit consent, which you give when submitting a request. For product analytics and session recording we use Amplitude (amplitude.com). Amplitude processes an anonymous device identifier, page-interaction events, and session recordings with form input masking. We do not share data with advertising networks. Data is shared with other third parties only as required by UAE law.
4. Cookies
ProLocals uses only essential cookies for proper site functionality: • Technical cookies — to maintain sessions and language preferences. • Authentication cookies — for platform administrators only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Data Retention
Request data is stored for 12 months from submission, after which it is automatically deleted. IP addresses are stored for no more than 30 days. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us via WhatsApp or Telegram.
6. Security
We implement standard security measures to protect your data: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure storage, and restricted access to personal information. However, no system can guarantee absolute data security on the internet.
